The Power of Life

Lets us all agree that we've been good towards following certain advances. Each one of us is at least aware and updated about the latest Galaxy and apple tablets on market. But how comes we have failed to cherish our natural wonders. How comes we’re no longer updated and informed about the welfare of our natural resources as a sacred heritage, for our children and our children's children.

I really want to admit that we all love to spend our free time in our posh houses and offices but what I know is that none of us would miss a free fully funded trip to Queen Elizabeth national park for a holiday. None of us would miss to go for that trip and watch those beautiful mountains and rivers of our motherland Africa. All we need as Ugandans and the world at large is to wake up from that sleep of apathy and start to drive sustainable changes in our communities.

No one knows the secret of where the beauty of our planet comes from and no one knows it better than those who have been their to fight for it. We need to do something about all those challenges and practices that are continuing to put our environment at risk. And if we can't do something today, trust me we're losing this beautiful nature and scenery in the hands of those who don't know why God blessed us this way.

Let us come together for a reason because each one of us has got the best potential to preach and sensitize this environmental gospel differently. Remember our grand children also wish to have a glimpse and a story of their own, they also wish to witness this beauty of where they come so that they can grow feeling proud of where they come from. All we need is to start small but think big about all these issues that have affecting us now for a decade. All I know is that it’s not yet too late that we can't do something.

Our problems here in Uganda and the world in general are numerous and cannot be solved by one person, but there are a lot of ways we can reach out to help our fellow brothers and sisters. Whether you just want to donate money or volunteer as a person, it’s up to you to choose what makes your contribution feel much better. All it takes is a bit of time, love and the passion to reach out willingly and help those who are continuing to suffer from these problems.

All we don’t need to forget, is that this planet is, was, and will always be stronger than us. We can't destroy it; if we overstep the mark, the planet will simply erase us from its surface and go on to carry its existing mission. Why don't you start to talk about these issues in your community and neighborhood so that we don’t let the planet destroy us?”

“The earth will not continue to offer its harvest, except with faithful stewardship. We cannot say we love the land and then take steps to destroy it for use by future generations.”

Let’s honor the connection we have with our planet

I hope its time that we all admit that the changes we’re looking for here in our country Uganda and outside the whole world are fundamental changes in the way we’re living. It is not in my power to force anyone to adjust or change from the way they live. But if I had to give one piece of practical advice it would be this: Whatever we’re doing to our planet is just a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to people whom we love so much.

Our day to day routines plays out as a reflection of who we’re through the interaction and the choices we make with our surrounding environment. It’s good to love ourselves enough so that we can be able to create an environment in our lives that is conducive to the nourishment of our personal growth. It’s time that we all learn to let go of the people, thoughts, and situations that ends up poisoning our personal well-beings.

Our task therefore as responsible citizens is not to negotiate with problems but instead to cultivate vibrant solutions and a learning environment that will enable us to commit ourselves towards making decisions that will help our environment to release the greatest expression of our uniqueness and personal integrity.

We don’t have to continuing reasoning like a man who created the plastic bag, aluminum can and the paper plate, and this was a good step for him because he could then take his automobile and buy all his food in one place and he could save that which was good to eat in the refrigerator and throw away that which had no further use. But soon after the earth was covered with heaps and heaps of plastic bags and aluminum cans and paper plates and disposable bottles and there was nowhere to sit down or walk, this man shook his head and cried; “look at this God-awful mess”

That man completely failed to understand the mess he created in the first place and that’s why he started blaming God for all the up coming environmental dilemmas that started invading his territory. Human beings we’ve been good towards blaming the government for all the messes and problems we have created ourselves and yet we continue to create and repeat the same things, day in and day out. For example is their any one among us who doesn’t know that throwing trashes like plastic bags full of plastic bottles over the passengers window when we’re traveling is complete backwardness. On the other hand, who doesn’t know that if we stop paying attention to all the things that nature give us for free like clean air, water, mountains, rivers, oceans, and landscapes we’re going to lose the beauty of our planet earth.

We can talk all we want about the failures of our governments but there is no one who lives in the government. What’s really hard for us to believe that the whole environmental crisis we’re witnessing at the moment here in Africa and across the world has its roots in our lives.

Let us not continue to deceive ourselves with the way we behave and interact with our environment because this planet is, was, and will always be stronger than us. We can't destroy it; and if we continue to pressurizing it, it’s even capable of erasing us away from its surface and continue to carry its existing mission.

Let us just take a look at how our trees are excited, bowing all their branches in glorious enthusiasm with hope for tomorrow. Their songs never cease. No wonder they were God’s first cathedral. Let’s honor the connection we have with our planet, let’s honor the art by which it is done, let’s honor the things its makes and its modesty and good work of continuing to provide us with everything we need.

Some one outside their needs to continue protecting this inheritance so that we shall be able to borrow it for our grand, grand children. May God richly bless those whose work has contributed towards protecting and preserving the nature of our planet.
I love you

The world is looking for some one like you

“Have you ever imagined that problems can become opportunities when the right people come together?” Do you really believe that our individual commitment to a group effort - is what builds a successful a team work, a society work, and above all a civilization work?”
I sincerely agree that it is extremely important that each one of us should realize our responsibility for protecting and preserving our environment, as well as fighting hard to make it part of our day to day routines.
As Africans, we have sometimes seen these environmental issues as far away from us simply because of living in extreme poverty for so long. But its time that we all start to recognize the urgency of preserving the balance of our environment, and believing that if we neglect it, the whole of our communities will continue to suffer the more.

Its time that we all come together and use our God given potential and skills to tackle all the current emerging ecological problems that are continuing to push us in all directions. Furthermore, as people alive today, we must consider future generations: a clean environment is a human right like any other. It is therefore part of our daily responsibility towards others to ensure that the world we pass on to our future grand grand children is as healthy, if not healthier, then when we found it.

There is no limit to what our personal responses and commitment might achieve. It is up to us as individuals to do what we can, however little that may be. It is my prayer always that may God help me be able to continue carrying this inspirational message of environment concern and awareness to all people throughout the world. I really ask God to grant all my wishes that I may be able to reach out and serve my people in the most practical way

I still sincerely believe that our suffering here in Africa as been due to lack of commitment, willingness and above all love to reach to out and make a positive impact. Day by day our people continue to inflict pain on others in pursuit of their own happiness and satisfaction. We can all achieve true happiness if we can learn to embrace a sense of inner peace and love, which in turn must be achieved through cultivation of compassion, through the elimination of discrimination and selfishness.

These problems of nature, poverty, hunger, and so on – have been due to lack of personal awareness and mass education. There is still need to cultivate a sense of universal responsibility in all human beings so that we can be able to reach out strongly to solve all our problems.

Believe it or not, we’re all seeking happiness and trying to avoid suffering. We all have the same basic needs and concerns and above all we’re human beings whom God has created for a purpose to make a very big difference in our people’s lives.

No more complaining………

You too you can make a positive environmnetal difference

I have been deeply encouraged by the widespread concern for environmental degradation here in Uganda and all around the other parts of the World. People everywhere have come to realize the great importance and value of continuing to protect the nature of our environment for the future generation to come. This personal commitment and excitement has not only offered the prospect of relief to many communities suffering from different environmental issues, but it is also an indication of humanity’s progress and development.

As a human being, I feel that the concern of reaching out to create environmental awareness and the effort to protect the lives of those endangered species represents a great service to nature and humanity. I wish to take this opportunity to specially commend and express my deep admiration and respect for environmental volunteers and activists everywhere around the world. You’re truly making a difference in people's lives.

Our efforts are truly making the world to become one global family with a mission to achieve. Thanks to the remarkable advances in technology that has continued to draw us together which has enables us to share information instantaneously, about the current emerging environmental crisis that is continuing to threaten the very foundation of our existence on this planet.

I sincerely believe that our sense of universal responsibility is the key to human survival and progress and development. It’s also the best foundation for world peace and promotion of environmental sustainability.

As human beings, we all desire happiness than suffering and that’s why I am extremely encouraged to push my passion and desire to continue blowing this trumpet for environmental freedom, equality and dignity. And I sincerely believe that we all have a right to achieve it no matter whether we’re educated or uneducated.

All I ask my fellow Ugandans and the world at large is to seriously look into these 21st century issues that concern us all with passion and willingness to make a difference that is if we’re to look forward to the future with some hope.

I love you and God bless you

We must act before it is too late

Peace and the survival of life on earth as we all know has been threatened by human activities which lack a commitment to humanitarian values. Destruction of nature and nature resources results from ignorance, greed and lack of respect for the earth's living things.
This lack of respect extends even to earth's human descendants, the future generations who will inherit a vastly degraded planet if world peace does not become a reality, and destruction of the natural environment continues at the present rate.
Our ancestors viewed the' earth as rich and bountiful, which it is. Many people in the past also saw nature as inexhaustibly sustainable, which we now know is the case only if we care for it.
It is not difficult to forgive destruction in the past, which resulted from ignorance. Today, however, we have access to more information, and it is essential that we re-examine ethically what we have inherited, what we are responsible for, and what we will pass on to coming generations. Clearly this is a pivotal generation. Global communication is possible, yet confrontations take place more often than meaningful dialogues for peace.

Our marvels of science and technology are matched if not out-weighed by many current tragedies, including human starvation in some parts of the world, and extinction of other life forms
Exploration of outer space takes place at the same time as the earth's own oceans, seas, and freshwater areas grow increasingly polluted, and their life forms are largely unknown or misunderstood
Many of the earth's habitats, animals, plants, insects, and even microorganisms that we know of as rare or endangered, may not be known at all by future generations. We have the capacity, and the responsibility. We must act before it is too late.

Its our responsibility to protect our Environmnet

In the past, the major need of people in our communities was arable land for grazing and subsistence farming. Human beings never even thought about commercial development. However, now the adverse effects on forests through over-population and the development of various industries have led to swamp reclamation and deforestation. This global transition in development has led to changes in climate and the geographical landscape thus being able to adversely affect not only human beings but also other living species.

It’s our responsibility as Ugandans and responsible environmental stewards, to come out strongly and speak about the welfare of our natural beings, and for the entire generation of mankind. Since I too have a responsibility in this matter, I have always made it a point to drop by and continue to inspire and motivate thousands and millions of environmental guardians and responsible citizens outside there who would love to protect our environment so that the present and future generations of mankind can make use of it.

Environmental hazards and bad practices should be taken very serious by each one of us because they are harming what belongs environmental to each one of us. For example our natural forests in many parts of the world, including here in Africa are declining and this is adversely affecting our favorable climate, thus upsetting the lives, not only of mankind, but also of all living beings.

Most of us we have been concerned very much about our own cars and businesses, but not really compassionate about protecting and conserving the nature of our environment. We keep it in order so that we can live and be happy. We know that to have happy feelings in our house we must take care of it. So our feelings may be of concern rather than compassion.

Similarly, our planet is our house, and we must keep it in order and take care of it if we are genuinely concerned about happiness for ourselves, our children, our friends, and other beings who share this great house with us. If we can all start to think of this planet as our house, we shall automatically start to feel much concerned about it. Today we all understand that the future of humanity very much depends on our planet, and that the future of the planet very much depends on humanity. But this has not always been so clear to many of us. Until now, we can all see how deforestation and over population here in Uganda and Africa at large has reached a certain stage were our environment has started to warn us everyday through landslides, floods and heavy soil erosion that there should be limits to our daily actions.

Its signs are truly showing us that it’s ready to erase each one of us out of this planet and continue carrying its existing mission. We should all stay warned and be ready to start harvesting what we have sowed in this ‘mother planet’ called Environment

Be Blessed
