I have been deeply encouraged by the
widespread concern for environmental degradation here in Uganda and all around
the other parts of the World. People everywhere have come to realize the great
importance and value of continuing to protect the nature of our environment for
the future generation to come. This personal commitment and excitement has not
only offered the prospect of relief to many communities suffering from
different environmental issues, but it is also an indication of humanity’s
progress and development.
As a human being, I feel that the
concern of reaching out to create environmental awareness and the effort to
protect the lives of those endangered species represents a great service to
nature and humanity. I wish to take this opportunity to specially commend and
express my deep admiration and respect for environmental volunteers and
activists everywhere around the world. You’re truly making a difference in
people's lives.
Our efforts are truly making the world
to become one global family with a mission to achieve. Thanks to the remarkable
advances in technology that has continued to draw us together which has enables
us to share information instantaneously, about the current emerging
environmental crisis that is continuing to threaten the very foundation of our
existence on this planet.
I sincerely believe that our sense of
universal responsibility is the key to human survival and progress and
development. It’s also the best foundation for world peace and promotion of
environmental sustainability.
As human beings, we all desire
happiness than suffering and that’s why I am extremely encouraged to push my
passion and desire to continue blowing this trumpet for environmental freedom,
equality and dignity. And I sincerely believe that we all have a right to
achieve it no matter whether we’re educated or uneducated.
All I ask my fellow Ugandans and the
world at large is to seriously look into these 21st century issues that concern
us all with passion and willingness to make a difference that is if we’re to
look forward to the future with some hope.
